Towards a More Aware and Sustainable Generation: "People First in Different Geographies" Project Continues for the Third Year
Driven by its belief in the importance of investing in future generations and their role in advancing sustainable development, Yeşim Group continues implementing its "People First in Different Geographies" project for the third consecutive year in both Egypt and Türkiye. The initiative aims to raise young people's awareness of social responsibility, strengthen their understanding of sustainability, and help prepare a generation capable of leading a more prosperous and sustainable future.
This year's edition at Jade brought together high school students from Al Mostaqbal Official Language School, who participated in a series of training sessions covering social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and sustainable development.
The program also featured interactive activities designed to develop teamwork, leadership, and decision-making skills. Through creative drama and interactive learning methods, students were encouraged to develop project ideas addressing challenges within their local communities, fostering a culture of civic engagement while supporting national efforts to prepare young people with the awareness and capabilities needed to contribute to sustainable development. The program also included awareness sessions on children's rights based on UNICEF principles, aimed at strengthening students' communication skills and enhancing their social awareness.
