High-Level Ministerial Delegation Visits Jade Textile Cairo to Strengthen Industrial Cooperation Between Egypt and Turkey



Jade Textile Cairo welcomed a high-profile official delegation led by H.E. Mohamed Gebran, Egypt's Minister of Labor, H.E. Vedat Işıkhan, Turkey's Minister of Labor, and Mr. Mehmet Şahin, Member of the Turkish Parliament. The visit took place at the company’s headquarters in 10th of Ramadan City.

The delegation was accompanied by H.E. Salih Mutlu Şen, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Egypt, Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouny, Governor of Sharqia, and Mr. Ahmed Abdel Hady, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor in Sharqia.

The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation in industry, employment, and joint investments—particularly in the textile sector, a cornerstone of Egypt's export economy.

During the visit, the delegation toured the company’s facilities and was briefed on Jade Textile’s latest expansion projects. The ministers praised the company’s role in creating sustainable job opportunities, empowering Egyptian talent, and supporting national industrial growth in line with Egypt’s development vision.

Mr. Selim Şenkaya, CEO of Jade Group Egypt, expressed his pride in hosting the delegation, reaffirming the group’s commitment to expanding its investments in Egypt and deepening strategic cooperation with Turkish partners.
