    Jade Textile Strengthens Its Global Presence with Major Industrial Expansions in Egypt

    •  New Expansion Locations:

    • 10th of Ramadan City:

      • Expanding operations over 78,000 m².

      • Two new factories under development:

        • SG Smart & Green: An eco-friendly smart factory (106,000 m²).

        • Green Medal Textile (GMT): An integrated industrial hub (127,000 m²).

    • Alexandria (Borg El Arab):

      • Land acquired for new factories covering 71,968 m².

      • Strategic location supports efficient production and export operations.

    • Beni Suef (Koum Abu Radi Industrial Zone):

      • Large-scale project covering 220,000 m².

      • Will create jobs, develop technical skills, and boost the local economy.

    • Ismailia:

      • Expanding the current factory to 180,000 m².

      • Enhances production capacity and supports regional growth.

    •  Expansion Objectives:

    • Increase production capacity.

    • Support global export operations.

    • Invest in smart, sustainable technologies.

    • Position Egypt as a global textile manufacturing hub.

    •  Expected Outcomes:

    • Total operational area: 782,968 m².

    • Full operational capacity expected by 2025.

    • Stronger global competitiveness and long-term sustainable growth.

  2. 2024

    • Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly witnessed the signing of a framework cooperation agreement between the Suez Canal Economic Zone and Jade Textile in Egypt.

    • Achieving Global Compact & Reaching 50% Female Employees.

    • Gender Seal Jade Textile is committed to advancing gender equality and women's economic empowerment through a strategic approach focused on equity and social balance.

    • Jade Ismailia got the 3rd rank in the category of large projects, in the competition of ''National  Smart Green Projects", launched by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Ministry of Communications, and Information Technology (MCIT). 

     

  3. 2023

    • Gender Seal & WEPs Participation,

    • Jade Textile has participated in the "Corporate Social Responsibility Publication Launching Conference”

    • Jade Textile has participated in the "Corporate Social Responsibility Publication Launching Conference. With this achievement, our system successfully met the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015, This shows our commitment toward the HSE, increasing our operational performance, employee and customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

    • Jade Textile received a gold performance from the customer Nike.

  4. 2022

    • Updating Women's policies & release harassment complaints hotline,

    • Jade Textile received the Best Practices Award, Gender-Responsive CSR Initiatives in Egypt Transitioning from Concepts to Good Practices,

    • CEO welcomes President Sisi at company booth, Jade Textile participated in the event of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones 2022, in the presence of Jade Textile CEO Mr. Selim Şankaya and several of Egypt’s leading apparel manufacturers.

     

  5. 2021

    • Jade Kindergarten Opening & New Supportive Policies for Women,

    • Jade has made a partnership with universities to train 50 students in our factory, the training included technical and theoretical topics, not only but, we also trained them on our social responsibilities, company ethics, and interpersonal skills.

     

  6. 2020

    • NGO’s engagement (ILO, USAID),

    • Launching the gender equality and women empowerment unit,

    • Upon the cooperation between the Egyptian government &Jade Textile Mr. Selim Sankaya presented the uniform to the National Teams That participated in the Olympic and Paralympic missions in Tokyo 2020,

    • Jade Textile Ismailia signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Manpower under the supervision of the Minister and Ministry responsible in Ismailia, to train, rehabilitate, and employ challengers technically to create actual job opportunities and facilitate their transition to the labor market, The trainees received a celebration of honor by Mr. Selim, CEO of Jade Textile.
