Jade Textile Continues the "People First in Different Geographies" Project for the Second Consecutive Year in Egypt

For the second consecutive year, Jade Textile continued implementing the "People First in Different Geographies" project in Egypt, in collaboration with Yeşim Group, the Contemporary Education and Culture Foundation (ÇEKVAK), and 10th of Ramadan Governmental Language School (GLS). The initiative reflects the company's ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility by supporting education and empowering a new generation capable of creating a positive and sustainable impact within their communities.

The project aims to promote the values of volunteering, active citizenship, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among high school students through a year-long educational program that combines theoretical learning with hands-on experiences, helping students develop both their personal and social skills.

The project activities officially launched at Jade Textile Cairo in the presence of Mr. Şanol Şenkaya, Co-CEO of Yeşim Group, Eng. Mohamed Samah, General Manager of Jade Textile Cairo, alongside representatives from ÇEKVAK, the 10th of Ramadan Investors Association, and the project's educational and community development partners.

Throughout the program, students participated in a variety of workshops and practical activities covering volunteering, inclusion, human rights, and community engagement. They also visited Jade Textile's manufacturing facilities in Cairo and Ismailia, as well as the Egyptian Food Bank, where they contributed to preparing food aid packages, transforming classroom knowledge into meaningful community action.

The project concluded with a graduation ceremony and a recreational trip, during which each student group presented its graduation project, showcasing the knowledge, skills, and ideas developed throughout the program. Inspired by the principles of volunteering, active citizenship, and sustainability, the projects reflected the students' commitment to creating positive change. Participants were also awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and successful completion of the program.

Through initiatives such as "People First in Different Geographies," Jade Textile continues to place people at the heart of its sustainability journey, reaffirming its commitment to investing in education, empowering youth, and supporting initiatives that contribute to building more resilient and sustainable communities.
